Dr. Michael Böni

I have a formal economical education from the University of Zurich, and have conducted studies in technical informatics with mathematics and robotics as minors. I earned my doctorate in technical sciences on the topic of artificial intelligence and information management at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and MIT, Cambridge, USA.

My main areas of expertise are in  Artificial Intelligence, System Dynamics, Complexity Management, Business Dynamics, Process Measurement & Optimization,  Public Key Architectures and Project Management.

I have held various management positions in the private industry and have worked and lived in seven countries over the last decade.

In 2002, I co-founded shiftTHINK Ltd., where I am now sole proprietor and  act as CEO.  I also lecture on artificial intelligence and applied mathematics and work as a government expert for IT-related economic relations. In my spare time, I arrange music (Electronica) and do 3D programming in C++ (2D / 3D graphics engines and everything that looks nice on a screen).
